British Aerobatic Champion brings new AvGas brand to the UK

British Aerobatic Champion Gerald Cooper is hoping to change the way the General Aviation community thinks about fuel by introducing a new AvGas brand to the UK.  WARTER aviation UK aims to bring affordability and reliability back into the long established fuel market. As UK Partner and ambassador, Gerald will be introducing the brand and its product benefits to visitors at Sywell Aero Expo in Northamptonshire this weekend from Friday 31st May to Sunday 2nd June.

As part of his ambassador role for the new brand, Gerald will perform his freestyle aerobatics routine in the high performance Xtreme Air XA41 at Sywell Aero Expo on all three days of the show.  Branded with the company’s logos, the aircraft will be powered by WARTER aviation’s high quality AvGas 100LL, providing high engine performance to enhance the safety and enjoyment of every flight.  Gerald will also display in the WARTER aviation branded aircraft at various UK and International events this year.

WARTER aviation UK is responsible for the sales and distribution of high quality AvGas produced by WARTER aviation parent company OBR PR at their oil refinery established for over 45 years in Plock, Poland.  The company transports its fuel via a simple supply chain that is both efficient and reliable, allowing the company to deliver competitive pricing and peace of mind to its customer base.

WARTER aviation is a company formed of pilots and experienced aviation business owners at both the global headquarters in Plock, Poland and at their UK offices based at Wickenby Aerodrome in Lincolnshire.  Gerald added: “This ensures that we understand the needs of our customers from real life experience allowing us to easily adapt our products and services to meet the changing requirements for differing needs.

“As a competition pilot, aerodrome operator, commercial pilot and licensed aircraft engineer I am acutely aware of the pressures on aerodrome operators to source high quality, competitively priced fuel through an established and reliable supply chain.  By bringing WARTER aviation to the UK I am confident that we can deliver these attributes to fulfil our customers’ needs.”

Peace of mind and safety will come as standard too, as WARTER aviation’s oil refinery in Poland adopts environmentally friendly production processes and eco transport solutions that not only meets but exceeds the necessary environmental regulations.
