Visit Ultimate High at the Goodwood Aviation Exhibition

Ultimate High, the UK’s top aerobatics training school, is now operating Top Gun Air Combat experiences from the famous Goodwood Aerodrome and will be displaying an Extra300 aerobatic aircraft at the Aviation Exhibition this weekend during the Goodwood Festival of Speed 28th June – 1st July.  Visitors will have the opportunity to meet a variety of Ultimate High’s ex-RAF pilots during the weekend and learn more about flying aerobatics from Goodwood Aerodrome.

Goodwood Aviation Exhibition is dedicated to the aviation industry and aircraft enthusiasts and is an additional attraction at the 2012 Festival of Speed. Open to all Festival and Moving Motor Show visitors, the Aviation Exhibition enables pilots, buyers and enthusiasts to see and even experience the latest aviation models, innovations and technical developments in a stunning setting and relaxed environment.

The Ultimate High team will be on hand to discuss Top Gun Air Combat aerobatic experiences from Goodwood in the highly capable Extra300, which will be on display on the Ultimate High stand within the Aviation Exhibition.

Built solely for the world of unlimited competition aerobatics and air displays, the Extra300 aircraft is the two-seat version of those used in the Red Bull Air Races. Using a combination of carbon fibre and fibreglass/Kevlar composite materials, the 300bhp Extra300 weighs less than a Lotus Elise and has a stunning power to weight ratio. The Extra300 represents the peak of aerobatic design and is capable of speeds of over 250mph, a climb rate in excess of 4,000 feet per minute, and can roll at a staggering 400 degrees per second.

During the Top Gun Air Combat experience days, ex-military instructors will introduce delegates to the delights of three dimensional freedom – where they will learn how to fly a variety of aerobatic figures and take the controls themselves. Flights are available in the Extra 300 stunt plane or Bulldog ex-military training aircraft for corporate groups and individuals.
